Performing the massage on the floor can strain the neck as the client has to keep their neck tilted. At our facility, we conduct Thai massage on a massage table because all our tables are equipped with a cut-out face section. The hole in the middle of the massage table, known as the face cradle, is designed to provide support for the clients face and head while lying face down during the massage. This allows for proper alignment of the spine, comfortable breathing, prevents neck strain, and enhances the relaxation experience for the client.

For Thai massage, back massage, and foot reflexology sessions, we provide Thai Fisherman Wrap Pants. These pants are comfortable, loose-fitting, and wrap-style, traditionally worn by fishermen in Thailand. They are designed to accommodate various body shapes and are suitable for activities like exercise, yoga, and meditation. For full-body massages with oil, such as aromatherapy massage, Lomi Lomi massage, cyclists regeneration massage (deep tissue massage), and hot stone massage, we provide disposable underwear. We do not conduct massages where clients are completely naked or uncovered. If you do not feel comfortable in our provided disposable underwear, you may wear your own underwear. Your massage therapist will leave the room to give you privacy to change and lie on the massage table. They will always ensure that you are properly covered during the session.

The frequency of massages varies depending on individual preferences, pain levels, physical needs, emotional needs, and budget. Regular massage sessions provide the most benefit, and this can range from weekly to monthly appointments.

If you have a cold or flu, it is advisable to cancel your massage appointment, especially if you are in the early and most contagious stage (first 48-72 hours). Please contact our booking team by phone or email to cancel with as much notice as possible. Massage can have a strong effect on the body, and if you are sick, it may intensify your symptoms. It is best to take some time to recover from your illness before rescheduling your appointment.

After a massage, it is normal to experience some soreness for 24-48 hours, similar to the sensation felt after a vigorous workout. This is a typical response when circulation and detoxification increase, and muscles have been worked on. You may also experience pain relief, improved mobility, deeper sleep patterns, and reduced levels of stress, irritability, and anxiety. Energy levels may feel increased as well. Like exercise, the benefits of massage are enhanced with regular treatments, leading to deeper relaxation and overall wellness. However, if you have unusual or chronic pain, it may be more appropriate to consult with a doctor or physiotherapist rather than relying solely on massage therapy.

It is recommended to avoid eating for at least 90 minutes before your massage treatment, and even then, only have a light meal. The body needs time to digest food, similar to the caution you would take before swimming or exercising. The digestion process diverts blood flow away from peripheral tissues and focuses it on the digestive tract. Massage, on the other hand, draws blood flow to the area being worked on, potentially causing poor digestion and discomfort if the body is still actively processing food.

It is important to inform your massage therapist if you bruise easily. Massage therapy is not recommended for individuals who suffer from hemophilia, a condition characterized by impaired blood clotting.
